Reach Trucks

Reach trucks come in 2 types, sit down and stand on. They also come in moving mast type or scissor movement (pentagraph). Capacities from 1 ton to 2.5 ton with lift heights to 11 metres.

Before buying a reach truck, unless the battery is less than 3years old - insist on a brand new battery ( 5 year manufacturers warranty )

** Many second hand dealers offer a 'good' battery . Don't be fooled - insist on a NEW battery, then compare their price to ours. REMEMBER the battery is very expensive, its the heart of the forklift.

Before buying, reduce your choice to a 2 dealer short-list. Spend the time, visit their place of business, and check it out for yourself. Make sure they use their own qualified serivce personnel and not 'sub-contractors'.

Make sure they have a service department and not just the 'guy in the workshop'.
